I own a 2008 sport. I've done intake, headers and exhaust. Jet hot coated both the headers and exhaust. I've got both MRZ Lightweight pulleys and the TTR stiffened upper engine mount along with their tranny mounts. I've got 18in wheels and stickier rubber... Now besides suspension mods and cammin the damn thing what could I do? Trifecta tune will be done on the dyno after I'm sure I'm finalized in my setup.
I'm trying to find a reputable site that sells the ITZ vented carbon fiber hood as well but other than everythingcobalt.com which I've heard mixed things about I can't seem to find it.
Looking for ideas and suggestions!

Honestly the butt dyno was happy after full bolt ons. Its more of a hobby now than a race car. I have a 6.0L pontiac g8 gt for my raw power binge haha. This is my daily driver. I guess when I started I was shooting for 250, but any extra power at this point is a bonus.
Yeah I know and this being my daily I'm not going through the headache of taking a NA car and trying to FI it. Maybe a port and polish next? Or cams? Like I said I am already happy with the power, building it is a hobby hehe
do cams and let me know how it goes lol. I want to cam my car later on
I got the 2.4 ZZP cams for black friday and got them in over winter break.
I would recommend them just for the sake of the extra umph it gives the engine.
If you are serious about the cams then hold of on any tuning until after those are in so you can maximize the benefit by adjusting the VVT tables.
I'm a few minor adjustments on my vvt tables before I'm completely happy.
You can run them with the stock tune but you won't get the most out of them.
With the upgrades you have you would definitely notice a difference from new cams.
The only down side is the price. I only got them along with the springs you will need because they ended up having discounts on both the cams and the springs.

Indeed! That is where I first started seeing improvements was when I started adjusting my old vvt tables for the stock cams to maximize the new ones. I just need to fix some stuff up for 6k rpm and up and add some more advance on the spark at 7k to 7.8k. I closed out too much overlap when I was seeing how far more advanced I can bring the exhaust cam before it goes the other way with performance.
After I got done tuning for the stock cams I massively improved low end torque and throttle response all while not having to molest the EGR hole
. The stock cams run out of puff though at about 6800rpm. Still got good mileage when just cruising. It still does too with the new cams.
I have some of my results and some sample tables shared on my thread over at hptuner's forum. I never posted the finalized results yet though for my old cams. Not until I'm happy with my new vvt tables for the new cams. There is enough information there though to get someone started off in tuning their own tables.

I'm not too sure bigger injectors are needed if you are running the stock cams. I can't say for sure because I've never logged with upgraded intake and full exhaust. My IDCs max out at a slightly uncomfortable 92% running with the current setup I have now but it still doesn't lean out when hammering it. Now, with your mods, if you went with the new cams then you'd want those injectors.
