ZZP header

So I am now lookign into the mid-length header, catted downpipe combo from ZZP. Any reviews, suggestions or sound clips? I hada problem with OBX as the O2 bung was either stripped or too large. Any problems like that with ZZP? Any help is much appreciated!

I had one of their old mid length designs and it performed well (they changed the flange design on it due to leaks. Which they fixed with the current in stock headers)
I had the 1.75 primaries which many say are too big. But it pulled great. Im an auto 2.4 and I pulled away from a ram air grand am gt with intake and exhaust. So take that as you will.

But zzp has treated me well and they make good parts.

I have their 2.5" catback.

Mines louder because it got burned in from being hot at the track.

my .02

i have the full zzp 3 inch cat'd exhaust (turbo'd le5) i originally went without a muffler, and it was way to loud (past the cool loud exhaust and into obnoxious teritory)

in terms of sound clips, they never do it full justice, due to different microphone quality, and being outside vs inside the car.

car sounds great. the local tuner also loved the sound to.

ZZP makes very good products at cheap prices. your only other options are $1000 borla/corsa etc kits.

you wont be disapointed with the sound.

i have read on the forums people notice a decrease in low end tq with the mid length, but mid-high HP is increased. something to keep in mind.

If you would like, i can take a clip on my phone of the 3 inch at idle, inside and outside. but there are lots of youtube clips allready

I was comparing the obx to the zzp cause of price difference and if it would really be worth it or not.
So erock you kinda helped me decide to go with zzp. I dont wanna deal with o2 problems and all that crap. My overall goal is to roll with the zzp s/c kit as well. So might as well roll their headers too. And everyone has good things to say about zzp so you pay for quality.

yea I made the mistake of going cheap, thankfully the 02 bung was stripped or I would be stuck with a shitty header, I am still talkign with ZZP about their new header with 1.5" primaries. The smaller primaries are more beneficial to NA set-ups...

So I just got my mid-length header with 1.5" primaries and catted downpipe. One question, how hard is it to drill the o2 defouler?
