)

These are preproduction prototypes I got my grubby little hands on...... Actual product may vary slightly, and all other normal disclaimers.
Bug Josh to hurry up and get the real ones out!
AVAILABLE NOW EXCLUSIVELY FROM OTTP

Can you go into more detail as to what these are?
Are we going to be able to get are hands on these?
How much?
Whats the benefit of these?
How hard to install?
What are these made out of?
Do we need anything else with these?
Thanks.

How much? ask Josh i bet 40 bucks but you know Josh always rolling back prices just like walmart

Whats the benefit of these? reduces /eliminates bump steer

How hard to install? simple hand tools /jack/ jack stands/torque wrench. Alignment check

What are these made out of? T6061 machined
Do we need anything else with these? rotated engine mounts make it easier for clearance and helps with torque steer eliminates wheel hop ( all other things being equal)

Raises it so it handles better.
It raises the rack(and therefore the inner tierod end) in order to put the tier rod and the lower control arm in better alignment with each other. If your lower control arms and your tierods dont sit at the optimum angle in relation to each other you get whats called "bump steer"
Bump steer is when your wheels turn themselves as ithey travel up and down, regardless of how you turn the steering wheel.
Cobalts have a tendency(designed in to all Cobalts, a compromise as all production cars have) To turn the wheel farther "in" when the suspension is compressed, and to turn it farther out when suspension extends(rebounds) This affects the cars ability to turn(by changing ackerman, we dont need to discuss it...just know it changes) and it also cause additional tire wear(outside edge, just like having too much toe-in)
Raising the rack helps to alleviate this concern.

Are there any other suspension mods that would have to go along with this to support it? How noticable will the difference be from stock, and is this a mod that shouldn't be bothered with unless there's a number of other things done first? I've been getting more and more interested in racing in forms other than a straight line lately

Its inexpensive(I'd imagine they are gonna somewhere in or below the $50 shipped area) and requires only one wrench to install(and of course an alignment check afterwards)
Its not something that everyone will notice seat of the pants, but it is an important part of a proper handling Cobalt.
The lower youre dropped the more likely you are to notice the difference but their effectiveness isnt limited to lowered cars.

This is a mod that is designed for guys/gals who like to turn the wheel.
