Thye utilize a special joint in place of the ride bushing(rear bushing). Unlike the stuff currently on the race cars which is spherical joint with no weather protection that requires vigilant maintenance for long life on the street, these have a sealed style joint that is designed for street use, but like the spherical joint doesnt have the radial compliance(squishability ) of the stock bushing.

They are really great tires. Rim protection,quiet,very good in snow/ice, and rain. I paid 180 a piece for them through Discount tire Direct. Much better than my old pirelli M+S...

ok i am not sure if this has been asked but on ottp website they say that this is for when you car is lowered do they help you car handle better if you are not lowered or what

This was answered earlier.

It is good for your car whether lowered or not. There is no reason not to get them unless you don't really drive that rough.
