2.2 All motor build
Most of the races are on the east coast, that and my family recently moved out there so that's another draw.
As for the video, show you how to do what? I hope you don't want me to show how you can blow up the car lol.
Duane - whenever you get a chance, just let me know when you'll be around.

You need a little more info than just bore size and compression height...
You also need to know the pin location and what rod size was used when making the pistons. Also you need to know the size of the pin to make sure it will fit into your rod.
What compression / bore piston are you looking for your L61 engine?

those pistons are for the 2.4L ecotec, how similar are the rods and pins?
I'd have either JE or Wiseco make you some custom 11:1 with .20 overbore. It wont cost that much, i believe under $500. They already have all the specs for the L61 so you dont have to worry about fitment issues. JE Only makes custom L61 pistons and Wiseco already makes piston kits for the L61 and are happy to do custom jobs as well.

ok guys, update. currently i am waiting on JBP Vortex header and 2.4L intake manifold and the tune will be coming with it. i may bail on the all motor build and just drop compression and go turbo this winter? im buyin a gxp solstice probably within the next two months and gonna do some work to that over the winter so im holding off on the cobalt for now, just the work thats done is what im gonna stay with at the moment
so far i have installed:
Mahle pistons (stock specs)
Eagle connecting rods And crank
Supertech valve kit
Comp stage 2 cams
GM adjustable cam gears
all arp studs
cometic head gasket
Injen CAI
2.5" catless dp and cat-back
N2O (125 wet shot)-- bottle is out but is full (for at track only)
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Spec stage 3 clutch
2.2 beta tune (clear image auto, trifecta)--- on the way

solstice is gonna stay basically stock. just maybe talk to hahn about a few upgrades but thatd be it
well the motor right now can be turbo'd and be fine with the forged internals and valvetrain build. im holding off on the pistons to see if im gonna turbo or all motor... im gettin quite a few thousand from a lottery ticket and im thats what changed my mind. i have $2700 invested in all the parts and labor (got deals from friends that got cavis and didnt use brand new parts and installed myself) and ive wanted a gxp but couldnt afford one til i paid off the balt but now im to that point that it will be paid off and ill have a good bit for down payment on gxp and money left over
its only a 75 shot right now but i have the solenoid and the jets to make it to 125... i wasnt planning on having to use it til next season so i wasnt worried about that right now. you got any suggestions? cuz i know your a very knowledgeable nitrous guy
