Well this thread needs less talk and moar pics. Got a few boxes today! I thiiiink this is everything parts wise I need to put my new motor together. I was smiling ear to ear this morning haha.

It should be in Neche Saturday. Then get my head back from Lsjion and the assembly can begin.

I recieved the head yesterday and the springs Supertech's today man. Heads up.
I did some poking around at that combustion chamber.....it was rough but it started to come out, I'm hoping I can get it all out when I make it to yours.

Ya I bought a timing chain kit from them.

 

I have a complete head I could ship out for you. Only 75k on it, just pulled it off and engine with a ring blown on cyl four.

Do I spy an upgraded shifter bracket??

 

Sure do! I got OTTP aluminum shifter bushings put in like 20 shifts before I blew my motor and just that it felt better. So I figured what the hell change those brackets out while I'm in there.

 

I'm almost done with tstone/s and will be moving on to 574's this week I hope.
Like I said, I'm pretty sure I can do it, but we will find out for sure. I can't wait to see some of these projects come together, I'm glad to be a part of them. I can't wait to do mine.

Got no text from you. But same here, I've been trying to text you on who to talk to to track this motor but got no responses. Wierd? I ended up calling Novak Auto Parts and chased around everyone there who knew something about the motor lol. Finally I talked to a guy that helped you package it. He said the ETA was the 29th. I asked if I could track it myself and he said not really, there's nowhere for me to log on to. Just give it a day or two after the 29th. So I may call Menke's in the next couple days just to make sure it's there. Then me and a buddy are heading to Fargo on the 9th for some new night life scenery and pick up the motor on Sunday morning through our way back.

 

Time to bump this build back to the top! Headed to Neche Saturday morning to get my motor! Thanks again kxrida2000 for all your help and paitence getting it to me! Then headed down to Fargo for the weekend to finally meet Taylor (Infraredline) and his Bismarck crew. We had a blast! Hit up a couple bars. But at the end of the night the Americans couldn't hang with us Canuks (obviously) lol . Looks like I'll be driving my car down to Bismarck for Infra to tune me. No more of this remote tune crap. Now I just need my head back from porting and I'm ready to start reassembly
