It's gonna be loud. Do yourself a favor and v-band the muffler and resonator like i ded on so it's not as hard to change when you get sick of it.

 

Can't wait to see some videos. Make sure you have the race filmed from 3 or 4 different locations and angles then edit them all together for a real nice movie

 

Really? Even with their resonator? I couldn't find any real good clips of it on you tube. But their 2.5" resonator made a big difference on my car.

 

It'll sound good until it falls apart. Seebs has their new style 3" and it lasted 3 weeks I think...

I'm telling you, if you want great tone and no rasp, get a DBX as a resonator. Pm me your number and ill send you vids of it vs a standard magnaflow res. (yay v-bands)

I have never heard another sc lsj with less rasp than mine.

 

Ugh... I just want a 3" exhaust that I can bolt in, not have to worry about, and is quiet. I pieced my 2.5" together and in the end I've never really been happy with it fitment and quality wise.

It's just more of a hassle and more expensive building an exhaust. You would think after 8 years of the SC being out someone would have perfected this by now haha.

 

I don't think you'll find a mass produced bolt on 3" exhaust that will be quiet. 3" will make it louder and the resonators in the bolt on systems are crap after about a year or so

 

I understand any 3" will be louder. I just don't want Honda civic loud.

Methanol doesn't like cats lol. I'm just weighing my options. If I built my own exhaust I would have to get everything individually. With everything ZZP will do for me I can get their 3" exhaust for $350. I got time to weigh my options though. Ill also look into building Al's set up and see what it's gonna cost.

 

This is my setup. Its a 3" zzp catback with the magnaflow resonator and muffler. Header is the JBP vortex. It's a little loud but not crazy if your not getting on it all the time.

 

Sounds pretty good! That magnaflow resonator is crap too. I found it made pretty much no difference on my 2.5" set up. I love zzp's resonator. It works so well. When it holds together. But I think there were a couple factors that played into mine falling apart personally.
