Devils Own Wiring Problems on LNF - Pump always spraying
Upon wiring the Devils Own 2.5 bar map sensor meth kit in my car and hooking it up to power, i noticed that the pump sprays immediately even when the car is off. When i disconnect the pump and turn the car on, the controllers Green PUMP light is on even on the highest dial settings. also, the solenoid gets extremely hot, so much so i cant even touch it. Could it be a bad ground or grounding somewhere where it shouldnt? or could it be my controller is shot? I was told by Devils Own that a faulty controller wouldnt light up what so ever, but im getting power and pump lights and all that so im not sure what the deal is.

Turn the on dial all the way counterclockwise and the full dial fully clockwise

I have a snow kit and it has jumpers that you have to set to make it ork on our car. If you have the full set lower than the start it will come on at that point on 100%

okay and in my other post you said it was the middle orange wire, are you certain this is the signal wire? it was tapped into the green wire before and when i tried tapping the middle wire it still did the same thing

okay i will try that. I dont know if you are familiar with the Devils Own 2.5 bar kit wiring diagram but the controller is both connected to the battery 12v and connected to a 12v fuse tap in the fuse box (tapping the fuel pump). this is going to sound really dumb but when i first wired the kit i had the orange wire (to battery) on the controller connected to the red wire on the pump as both of these wires were going to the battery. where it went wrong is that i had those two wires soldered onto old speaker wire that i had assumed was connected to the positive battery terminal, but that wasnt the case. prior to correcting this and properly connecting everything to the battery, the controller still lit up and flashed on start up just off of the fuse tap, which is why i didnt think it wasnt connected to the battery at the time. maybe leave it on the fuse tap and not connect the controller to the battery?

yes. checked all the wiring thoroughly and determined it was something wrong with the controller. Sent it in to devils own and sure enough a fuse in the controller went. Warrantied and now im just waiting to get it back.
