Fuel Cooler
What dos eeveryone think on installing one of these inline of our fuel system like right before the fuel rail? Providing a bit of extra benifit of cooler fuel.
Heat Sink
wonder what would be required in fitting this inline?

He, my fuel rail and the metal lines near it get the most head soaked just form touching the head. Having a plastic fuel rail and some insulated lines would do more than that heat sink could.

Ive warped mine in the cool tape stuff but im more or less interested in the type of fitting on our fuel rails and if it detachable and i can add a cooler like this inline with maybe just an adapter or something right before the fuel rail? The fuel system is the only area on our cars i haven't dived into in depth. only thing I've done is filter change, even when i did full rebuild myself i didn't touch it just moved it aside. a -8an fitting or something like that from jegs or napa or whatever.

it cant hurt to try it, im definitely going to put one on if I can figure out what fittings I need i'm not quite sure how the fuel line attaches to the fuel rail on our cars. Ill look into it a bit more and maybe post up what I come up with. it would be done inline right before the fuel rail on our cars.

There's no point in this really. Cobalts use a returnless fuel system. That means that any heat gain that can happen will be in the fuel rail and under the hood. That's pretty much it. If you want to, wrap the rail in gold foil. Like this: Aaron's fuel rail mod - GrandAmGT.com Forum
A fuel cooler is useful for older return style systems that would return hot fuel to the tank.
