This would be my motivation for getting the TVS as well.

you will never notice the loss of resolution if your only moving from a 2.5 inch to 3 inch pipe, or even a 3.5 inch pipe.

eh not really... I still had fun, cranked out 296whp on pump gas, but the car I owned before was a
912whp 9 sec monte carlo that I used to cruise around in, so yeah, the cobalt felt really really slow.

We will be selling them directly from our Michigan warehouse, however several installers (inc ZZP) have indicated they would like to stock them.

It is not exactly coaxial, but very close (within a few mm's).

The first production batch will be US$2250 + domestic (US) freight.
It is likely that the 2nd batch will increase in price due the the Aussie dollar being significantly stronger (US$ weaker).

The powder-coat colour is "Metallic Precious Steel Pearl".

We can supply non-coated, but it will be a "special order" (no price change for shot-peened finish). If we get enough requests for non-coated, we may create it as a seperate line item to stock.

It is great to hear some degree of loyalty being expressed, however we also understand that we need to be commercially competitive.
The suprising thing is that some people seem to have already assumed we will be 'expensive'. I believe we offer great value-for-money ... as evidenced by the price of the HTV1320-LSJ.
Please help me understand your expectations by forwarding some target pricing.
What do you currently pay for good-quality replacement pully kits?
What do you consider a fair price?

My daily drive is an '06 GTO (Holden Monaro/ HSV GTO) that is a cammed 402ci with an HTV2300 and produces ~620rwhp ... which I get ~18.8 mpg in traffic, 23.9 on the freeway.

Engine bay of the GTO is on http://gallery.harrop.com.au/main.ph...d=70&g2_page=2, although it looks better now as it has a production set of "everything" on it.

Harrop, Were you (your company) involved in the development of the TRD Aurion?

Also do you have any experience with the Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump or something similar?

It made me think of it due to all the fueling concerns people have been expressing.

I am so glad the Harrop guys are doing this project.

This is the LSJ's time to shine!!!

Ken,
when it comes to buying a module system (since thats what we had to do to get pulleys to fit) which usually runs $99.00 depending on company but its pretty much a round about price. That provides 1 pulley and a hub for you car. Then if you want to drop pulleys after its 50-75 bucks a pulley but you have to buy from the same place u bought the module system. I think the 50-75 mark is a decent price i think, but then u have to look into polished pulleys and black ones also. Hope this helps

Yes ... The supercharging of the TRD Aurion was done by us, with calibration done by TRD.

No ... we don't do "Boost-a-pump" as i do not believe it is the best method of ensuring good fuelling. In the Holden/Ford V8 applications, we typically run dual in-tank pumps with dual 10mm feed lines. There is a lot of chat about increasing fuel pressure, however on a well-engineered system the increase in fuel pressure only needs to equal the increase in manifold boost. An increase in volume without compromising control is what is required.

I have a lot of respect for the Harrop guys, and I understand what you are saying. Just to throw the idea out there though as people are trying to get the first 10 of the HTV1320-LSJ prototypes up and running the Kenne Bell guys have tons of hard data supporting the BAP vs adding dual pumps and crazy injectors. i really enjoyed reading all the info on their website. I hope at least one of the 10 testers atleast tries this method as it would require the least amount of modification IMHO.

Just my 2 cents

BAP = FAIL!

Return fuel system + FRP w/ 1:1 boost input = 10x better... and history shows that it works.
