Remember, Psi is a measurement of restriction not of air flow. You could push double the amount of air that an Eaton M62 makes at 15psi through your engine and still run 15psi if your head, intake manifold and exhaust are all size properly.
Yeah, I understand the difference between CFM's and PSI. I guess I could have stated that one better, but I get lazy when typing.

CFM is not a good measure.. CFM is a VOLUME flow measurement..

Lb/hr or Kg/hr is a MUCH better measurement because its a MASS FLOW measurement. and you AFR is a MASS based ratio.

I would think a piston install is a little bit more involved than just going out and get the diamonds and dropping the pan with the crank? or is it

ive never done anything like that and i have little faith in local shops knowledge of domestics, who do I go to if all I want is pistons?

Rodimus, you have to take the head off, drop the oil pan, undo the rod bolts and pop the pistons out of the top. That's sounds easy enough, but doing it will take a lot longer. Plus, then you have to worry about the rings seating right if you don't hone the cylinders, and honing should only be done with the rest of the block apart to prevent nicking the crank.

If you can control the weather, would you please make it warmer outside tomorrow?
