Even better. I look forward to how your logs will compare to the others'.

I take it you have an intake and full exhaust already, as well as cams?

Yeah already been down that road, forged bottom end w/neutrals, cams and built top end.

I do have a supplemental fuel pump but its not installed as my factory service manuals didn't list which stupid line was supply and return from the tank and I wasn't dropping the tank to find out. I've since grabbed a spare fuel module and found out but if I see a fuel pressure drop I have a spare inline Aeromotive fuel pump ready to be installed.

Ah okay. You'll show some good potential with the TVS with a well built engine then. 79's would probably be too much for an LSJ with mostly stock everything, correct? Or would it matter at all?

After installing the 79s, I wish I would have done it earlier. The pintle style 60s that everybody uses are garbage compared to a disc style injector like the 79s. They have massive overhead and better short pulse fuel control than the 60s imo.

I'll be running 60s off the bat and going accordingly. Me and Witt both are on the fully built side of the house

Hmm. At what stage did you install your 79's? Before or after your internal build?

Oh that's right. I forgot you were built as well. Hmm.

LSJ is also built to or am I talking out of my ass? If I remember he is running a 2.5.

BTW, and this applies to anyone who is test piloting these...If god forbid something would break I have a massive collection of spare LSJ parts in my basement. They are actually mostly djt81185's from his second engine rebuild after he spun a con rod bearing but I'm sure he would let me make a little withdrawl from the bank of Dan's spare parts.

Other than a block, head, and crank, I have everything needed to build another engine if one of us has a booboo. Let me know asap if something happens and we can arrange a little shipping manuever.

I built the bottom end in April of last year. I installed the 79s in January this year when I applied to be a test pilot for Harrop.

thanks Witt. And lsjwannabe isn't built he's going to be the test pilot for those with stock internals. So he would be the one for questions when it comes to stock engines

I know Witt is going to stop @ 400hp, since he is using stock rods still.

... I'm probably going to investing in a TVS this fall.... although I included rods in my build... I had no intentions of going too far over 300.... problem is, I just kept buying parts....
