the pipe side needs to be welded to the bracket with a brace, i noticed mine is bending allready.

so i changed the cold side piping a bit and had to retune it, here is a screen shot of a quick 2nd gear pull from 40 mph, bear in mind i have no boost controller as i accidently shipped it to germany with all the rest of my stuff so i'm stuck with a 1.2 bar wastegate spring which equals about 15psi at the intake manifold.

yeah I know, something isn't right there. either he's pushing the turbo too hard, or his IC setup needs some work.

I'm trying to remeber what turbo he has...but i cant rite now.

none the less, i thought it was an SC50, which wouldn't be totally efficient rite there, but at 15psi it shouldent be making **** for heat. the wheel is riding the surge line if anything at that pressure.

thats because i just moved back up here to the desert and when i was logging it was hot as hell, the intake manifold was heat soaked as well, gotta look at getting a different intake mani gasket because the manifold is aluminum and gets all the heat from the block.
when under boost the iat2's usually drop to about 120. but not when it is this hot out.

it was definately a good starting point, i have since done a lot of maf tuning, i think i finally have the maf dialed in.

no the turbo is barely breaking a sweat, the gate cracks way early at 15 psi. i'll post some logs running it when it's not 110 degrees out and the car isn't completely heatsoaked from tuning for an hour or so.

yah it's not the turbo, coming off the intercooler the heat is a couple degrees more than outside airtemps, but the intake manifold heatsoaks like a ****.

DOES ANYONE MAKE A COMPOSITE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET FOR US? i have searched and searched with no luck.
