You talking about Mongorat? I was talking to him about the whole build seems like for what I want him gave me a fairly good price. Plus I got an engine building place like right behind my house so If I have to I can have it delivered there and have them just check it out as well.

So 574 is there any recommendation on what kind of compression you would go with? Or what kind of valves n cams if any you would go for. Also who should I have port n polish my head as well?

I'd stick with stock CR stock valves, stage two turbo cams and I'll message you on fb about a good head porter that does it for a great price

Awesome man thanks. I think that's what mongo told me to do just stick with stock compression ratio. Why stock valves though?

Because if it's not broken don't fix it, money is better spent elsewhere. If you go with the porter I suggest, he will lap your valves and thats all you need done

Ok guys getting ready to finish purchasing some parts for the cobalt. My main question is what kills the stock piston/rings? Since I will be grabbing nbs, cams, springs and retainers. Should I already grab some diamond pistons and rings? Or should I just worry about fuel as I will hopefully be pushing the turbo a little more than 14#s?

Thanks MrB but I haven't found ANYWHERE that says with more than a guess where I might run out of fuel at. Considering my redline will be higher than the norm. Because of the stage 2 turbo cams, springs and retainers, so I would rather you answer or help me better get an answer for my question then make a joke out of what I asked.

if you would start searching and reading you would know that there is no set rpm or whatever were you will run out of fuel every engine given same mods will be different and your not doing something new with spinning the engine 1000 rpm more but a lot of your questions can be answered if you look around
