Procharged SS/SC new video
TVS = great low end power so far maxed out at 360 or something like that ( more will be shown on angelos build
Turbo = great top end pull with better boost control but you have to deal with a bit of lag! You can choose any turbo for any power level and thats best part. So you could have good low end if you wanted to!
Procharger = Great top end pull like a turbo! easu install with no oil lines and much cooler outlet temps. You have better low end then a turbo but not by much. The only problem to far is fitting a bigger procharger in the car. and once I have jimbos car done we can start making better videos of the power. Let just say you could fit a gray hound between the cobalt and the vortech supercharged mustang!!!
By the way im swapping the procharger for a GT35R!
Very much agree with jim here. The turbo is going to be an awsome setup for major hp numbers!

Nobodys getting f*** here! They are just on a major deadline and these engines are not like a honda. The parts are harder to get or are custom ordered! Anything like this is very time consuming and I do my best to get this stuff done as soon as I have the parts!
Im more then likly am not going to build to many more cobalts because of the parts issues I run into. I have built hondas and mitsubishi with all the parts in a weeks time but the ecotec seems to be the hardest motor to get parts for and even harder to get them in a resonable amount of time.

i agree, building a motor like the lsj's and 2.4L are pretty hard to find the right parts so i will agree it does take time and when things are rushed quility of work goes down.
All in all i have found it to be a task to get pistons for 2.2L in a reasonable time...but again that is the game.
being there not chevy 350's allot of the parts are 1 off and need to be made from scratch or if your lucky someone bought them and does not need them no more...
i know chevytech does great work and under pressure even better and keep up the good work man!
i've changed my pants twice today..
and probably next week since it usually takes 7-10 days to get the card

you sick junky!
haha so
not higher compression stock 2.4 compression..and considering chevy ran 236 whp on the first setup at 12psi with no intercooler and the lsj intake mani with 9.5:1 compression...
bumping it up almost 1 whole compression point.. so i'm figuring 240-250 at about 10 psi
thats where i start with the 3.45 pulley then i'll drop to the 2.95.. then eventually 2.55 and i should be able to hit 350 whp with this.. my eventual plan is cams and ported head and all.. but i'm gonna keep stock compression ratio...
matt said the slight bump up on the block he has now (9.8:1 CR) the car feels totally different so i cant imagine how mine will be

however from what i understand chevy should be getting his comp back soon
not surprised hes going turbo since thats what the ******* engine was built for. i guess he didn't get what he expected using a procharger. I know the engine hes using well, helped build it a little.
he said at 12-13 psi he was running a little over 300 on the c-1 with the new engine.. which goes to show bumped compression + head work+ displacement = sex
which mean .. my car will = icame
