Procharged SS/SC new video
he liked it procharged but it's built for turbo.. and he wants to get every ouch outta that motor.. and the c-1 wont get him to his goals so it's a choice of buying a bigger blower.. or going turbo.. and for a bout the same price
he said at 12-13 psi he was running a little over 300 on the c-1 with the new engine.. which goes to show bumped compression + head work+ displacement = sex
which mean .. my car will = icame

and all that doesnt mean sex. chevytech built my motor and it is now sitting in front of my house blown AGAIN...
Here is the shake down with the procharger kit and the LSJ....
on the LSJ the ProCharger is a great bolt on but there is only one problem, the bang for the buck is not there. Meaning for AAS Tuning to really "Break Even" he would have to sell the kit right at $4200.00 Now that being said, you can spend 4200.00 on other things then a simple bolt on. Yes it performs but there is only one problem...Cost.
AAS Tuning is all about the best bang for the buck. Yes we all know performance cost but lets admit 4200.00 is no joke! I do know he was pushing to sell it at 3750.00 but after costs of everything rising it is way to expensive so why try to push a product in this economy?
so the next best choice would be to go turbo...not only does AAS Tuning have great relationships and is a dealer for ProCharger but he also has very nice connections with Garrett and Borg Warner, HKS, Turbonetics (SP) and a whole slue of Turbochargers on the market.
I do know he loves running around in his ProCharged Cobalt and is killing them left and right but Chevy is not happy with his 300+ whp car he wants more like 500-600+ whp car! But that is how he does business!
So for those with a 2.2L or 2.4L cobalt the ProCharger is great but on the 2.0LSJ it is pricey and there is other alternatives to go like Turbo or Nitrous...etc
So like you ElecBlue the ProCharger is great for you being you have More Cubic Inches, Higher Compression and you dont need much boost lets say 12psi and your there! and the cost is cheaper and so you do get the bang for the buck on your setup

just to raise a question: why go through a shop that has done sloppy work on 2 cars already? Getting a built car back with numeral connectors not connected,a leaking clutch and a hell of a lot of new scratches and dings is no fun.and that isn't even the full extend of it.Everyone considering going through him should ask Raven SS or jimbos'ss about their experiences

well i was saying bumped compression from the lsj i know it's lowered compression from a 2.4 and chevy didn't build the frankenmotor so ok whatever.. and to me it = sex
well chevy's not building anything for me .. he's sending me a blower, a bov, some piping, and some other things .. for alot more of a cost effective price then doing it new.. thats why i'm going with him... i've spoken with matt many times even before this and while YES he might've done some shoddy motor work thats not what this thread is about and thats not what i'm going through him for.. i'm in NY he's in CA so it's not like he's installing it .. how bout we worry about videos he has on his comp and maybe me posting vids of the kit on my car when i get it situated

saying this to people who have lost thousands of dollars due to the person u are worried about videos is a good way to get a **** off from us...we dont give a **** about the videos u want....we want to not be ignored and want to know where the **** our money is

im not making it either..and no thread every keeps on track and we have tried taking it up with him thru email phone calls and pms...so if we are going to be ignored then i feel its fair to put out the truth on his work...nothing more nothing less but to push off people who have been screwed over by him as if it was nothing was wrong by ur part even if u were trying to keep the thread on topic (like its been on topic all the time)
