Red's Hybrid Engine Build
#52
decided to do a wire tuck on the headlight harness,
started by freeing the harness from its retainers
next I had to enlarge the hole by this sensor to allow the plug to come through and to help with fishing the wires through, used a dremal to do it. think I will put some vinal enge over it to clean it up
fully tucked now
cut the nubs off then cleaned the area
and just a close up of the harness coming out of the tuck

got the charge pipes mocked up but it is to windy out to do the paint for the charge pipes
still not sure what im going to do about the plastic intake, car is off the jacks as of now, im guna try and get the fuel tank and rear shocks installed today and check for leaks in the fuel system. as for the new front shocks the diferance is night and day, no more bounce when I push down on the front end CANT WAIT TO DRIVE THIS BEAST

tried to turn the engine this morning with the starter to build oil pressure but put the key in the ignition and it would not activate, so I pulled the power and grounding cables off the engine and ran a metal brush over the conectors and contact points on the block to clean them up and finaly got the starter to turn the engine. now I just need the stupid mail man to deliver my gauges that were saposed to get here yesterday so I can confirm oil pressure :banghead:

Just stumbled across this thread and it is almost exactly like the engine build I have planned, down to basically the same color haha. Only difference is I'm supercharged pretty much. How's this all holding up for you and any complications getting it all to work together?
