serious weight reduction

ive gotten over 270lbs out of my civic. what would you like to know about weight reduction? lol

I took the time to weigh everything so far and I'm at 183lbs. Still have yet to do the dash, sound system, doors, or ac. My guess is I could hit 250-275 ish. Hell with some light wheels and some carbon fiber or fiberglass body panels I might even crack 300.

general rule of thumb is .1 et for every 100lbs. Light rim and tire combo is a huge factor in weight reduction because of the rotating mass

Come on huckernage, you have another 20 pounds of dashboard in there you dont need. saws all that bitch.

And it looks like stripping a balt gets you in the same weight range as a stock base model eco j-body, I guess the chassis needs to be swiss cheesed to get light.
