Reason I ask is because I found a cheap used LNF turbo motor from a trashed cobalt in a junkyard, I also have an old 96 thunderbird with a very terrible 4.6 ford motor in it. I'm half tempted to get this LNF motor and attempt to drop it into this thunderbird. Thoughts? Possible? Convert the LNF to run a rwd car?

 

Well... the Sky has a LNF in it.

 

There is somebody out there that successfully put one in a third gen camaro. With time and money anything is possible.

I told my brother we should put.on in his s10.. but he wants to do the 5.3 in it or LS1. But I see alot of tjose and think meh those swaps are too common

 

It's not going to be easy but it's possible.

 

My Solstice has an LNF


The problem with LNF swaps is that you need the whole wiring harness and pcm. The LNF is one of the most computer run motors out there, so getting everything with the motor is critical. If you do it right, I'm sure it would be awesome. I know there is a sand-rail out in Cali that has an LNF swapped in it, and I thought there was an Ariel Atom with an LNF swap too.

 

I've always wanted to swap an LNF into a right hand drive RX7, would be badass.
