well a lot of people have had 3rd gens. Including me, they're... OK? I've never liked the halo projectors since the output is poor, and it's gonna be even worse with those tinted lenses. I've never actually seen the tinted ones on a balt.

I've had them before but not tinted. I ditched them because the lens coatings were peeling and sticking all over my car. Someone backed into me and crushed my passenger headlight so I figured I'd get some new headlights but I'm having a difficult time going back to projectors for their poor quality. I did however buy my old ones from ebay...So idk.

The projectors are all made in the same factory, so quality is the same no matter where you go.

There 30 pages on this thread an so I'm sorry if this has already been asked but... Last night I was fixing my left headlight and had to pull the black barrack, under the light housing, out too and noticed there is a electrical plug plugged into a blank-off socket. What is this for? I don't know if there is one on the other side or not. All my lights are plugged and working just fine.

Driver side correct? That's the temperature sensor for the outside temp.

after reading this post a while back, u inspired me to build my own custom set up of these spec d lights. I ordered, did the work and look absolutly sick. THANK U for the idea!

low quality cellphone pics sorry (waiting for better weather to complete a better photoshoot of these tails)

pic BELOW is of park lights on (center reflector lit) AND Brake light on (led outer ring, spec d)

BELOW pics Park lights on only.

center reflector has a .5 watt, 8mm, red, straw hat (140degree light output), led installed behind the reflector.
As well as a 3mm led installed on side of rear tails, these led described r the park lights. Then when brakes and turn lamps are turned on the spec d led ring lights up.

side marker has two,.5 watt straw hat led (same straw hat led as described above).
