Depends in your budget. If you wanna keep things cheap (under $400) you're going to have to build these yourself. These are stock headlight housings with oem Mercedes projectors retrofitted in. Start by researching retrofitting. If you'd like to have a set built for you, buyhids.com can build you a set usin mini h1 projectors. While they are going to be your cheapest option, they are not the best performers. If you'd like something that will perform top of the line, send a pm to member Maven on this site, he can build you a set with fxr or evox-r projectors, which are similar to what's in that pic. Spend lots of time researching before you make any decisions, as there are lots of options out there. You could also check out hidplanet.com for a large wealth of information on the topic. If you'd like I ask questions feel free to pm me, I would be happy to help

there are lots of pics of retros in this thread. Just go look through it. Any pics of headlights that you see with only a single projector are gonna be retrofits. Talk to Mkulrey13. He runs buyhids.com and builds retrofits for cobalts.

Check out these theads

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appe...hread-217768/\

With retrofits, you've got lots of options for projectors, some are better than others. Buyhids only uses mini h1s

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appe...thread-272058/

and there's a very large resource on retrofitting on hidplanet.com

Hey guys.

I have Type 2 LED's with 3 OHM 50W 4 BULB LOAD EQUALIZER RESISTORS. They're in the 3rd gen headlights. When I use my turn signal when the car first turns on, they will stay orange when used, and then go back to white. After driving for a while (mostly highway and don't do many lane changes), they will start to "flicker". By that I mean they will kinda start acting like a Type 1 LED. The bulbs I got from a member on here and he said that they used the 3 OHM resistors.

Is this normal, or is something defective? Or do I have the wrong resistosrs? V-LED's FAQ says they need to be 6 OHM. If it has to be 6 OHM, can i just buy another 3 OHM and "daisy chain" it, or should i just be the 6 OHM and be done with it?

Thanks in advance guys. I can get video of the flicker if needed.

Go 6 OHM and be done with it. You'll know it'll work for sure.

I am trying to get some info on "Black Depo Headlights" I am looking for some one to tell if they can handle a 9007 Bi-Xenon Morimoto HID Kit - 5,000k? Some one told me if they are not OEM housings they will crack, can anyone shed some light on this for me?

yes you can run them in depo housings. Depo quality is about as close to stock quality as you can get aftermarket. They'll be fine. Many of the retrofits you see done here are done using depo housings. They're a very popular aftermarket replacement choice.
