Seems like on the top of my headlights, on the cover they are peeling or something with the clear coat......anyone else have this issue?

 

Ive heard a lot of people saying this about the 1st and 3rd Gen that the clear coat is peeling. I have the 2nd Gen though. Nothing but problems with them. The ccfl bar went out on 3 different setr and I have no idea what Im going to do now. I cant make up my mind about getting the 1st or 3rd gen.

 

yea, it's because the quality of the lens are ****... after a couple of months the weather gets the best of them and the clear coat peals or the lens crack from heat, ive heard this especially with the 1st and 3rd gens.

 

yep mines pealing lol. and water getting in now... and the driver side low has dropped and no recovery for it so far lol

 

Hey whre did you get your 2nd Gen projectors from? Are they still working for you? Mine keep going out.

gen 1's FTW, i did replace my lense with my stock one. Not 1 problem + HIDs w00t

 

ebay, they still work good except one halo which is ftl...

 

Oh dumb..Im returning mine right now. Im just going to put the stockers back on. I need new headlights though. The nokya set I have SUCK

So far *knock On Wood* nothing is going wrong with ours...how long into yours bumblebee did it start peeling?

 

Two guiys here in ns have the problem with their 3rd gen ones with the heat cracks.

my first gens where fine for the first couple of months. Soon after the lenses started to peel, and moisture is getting in them now.

My 1st gens almost don't have any clearcoat left. Looks real bad up close

 

1, 2, and 3 all suck, are cheap, and have problems. retrofit is the only way to go if you want projectors.
