1st and ONLY Cobalt with a TL Retro!!!

As far as I know I'm the only Cobalt with TL's. Smartdude has them on his G5 but, no Cobalts that I'm aware of.

I actually got this done a little over a week ago but our computer was broken so I couldn't upload pics.

As is expected with TL's, cutting was necessary.

Test fitting...

Cut and fit the shrouds.

After that I got lazy taking pics but all I did was epoxy the projectors to the reflector.

Painted the bezel satin black to match my bowtie, wheels and tail lights.

I also tinted the side markers but after that some **** went down. Long story short, I have a
new set of lights coming to replace the side markers and lenses. I'm gonna do something a
little different with the replacement side markers.

And the good stuff.

The lenses are robbing a lot of color and a bit of brightness, so when I get new ones they'll be even better.
Overall i'm very happy. They're a lot nicer than the RX330s in my other retro. Much brighter.
And I'm LOVING the bixenon. I haven't had anyone irritate me enough yet to justify using
them for that reason but, I find my self hitting them whenever nobody's in front of me just to
see them lol.

Heres some pics on the car.

And one of the reasons i'm ordering new lights

Yeah I'm over the whole halo, led drl thing. I just wanted a clean and simple look.

And I believe he has 5k fogs. At least that's what his headlights are so I'm assuming...

Nope my fogs are 5000k, the camera is making them look bluer than they really are, didn't adjust the white balance correctly.

Very good work JL! I'd still love to do this in the future, but I think for now I'm gonna stick with my minis. Very impressive work! Glad to see you got it done.

No pics but I made a shield out of aluminum flashing that I screwed to the bottom. Then some aluminum tape to make sure it's weatherproof. A little ghetto but it got the job done.
