3rd gen halo projectors

Are there any issues with these on the '09 SS/TC's ?

Considering my custom wiring I had to do with the LED tails from Modern Performance, I figured I'd ask first this time before I got them.

Thanks in advance.

Modern Performance doesn't offer 3rd Gens... only 1st Gens.

Normally on 3rd Gens, highbeams/lowbeams are plug-and-play, you use your old blinker bulb/assembly to plug into the new one, and the halo/LEDs you have to wire in.

On my 2009, they were not. Connectors didn't match-up at all.

I just recently got 3rd gen projector headlights for my 08 SS TC and it was really easy. There was a how to on here but it ended up being reversed (black wires DO splice to black lol) so it was an incredibly easy install. They look amazing too. My buddy who has an 07 SS SC wants to get them now but he wouldn't be able to put in his 10k k HIDs because the bulbs are different. I honestly wish they would so I could put in my xenons but oh well. It was a good trade off

The lights themselves are plug and play, however you have to wire up the halos and leds yourself. Its not hard tho, just group all the black wires up and solder them to the black wires on the harness and group up the red wires and solder them to the brown wire on the harness. Then the halos and leds will light up when you park lights are on.
