I have 3rd gen halo lights and after I installed 6000k HIDs my halos got very dim, even with the lights off. Not sure why this happened, just wondering if anyone has some ideas.

I'm also planning in getting the 'type 2' led turn signal bulbs with the resistor. These are all universal with every cobalt headlight correct?

find a different power source for your halo's

 

Gen 3's have LED halos that are typically pretty dim. Mine are pretty dim and I have mine wired to the DRL's. I think the only thing you can do is swap them out for CCFL halos.

 

Try wiring them to a different power source.

And yes, all cobalts have 3157 turn signals.
