3rd Gen on Vic Red @6k

Well, I traded in my LS for a SS/SC and I had 3rd gen lights with 6k hids. The SS/SC has fog lights and I dont want to buy another set of bulbs to match. So, how well does the 3rd gen (black) headlights and 6k hids match with the standard halogen fog lamps? Should I just stay stock headlights and sell em, or do they go well together (I had to strip the wires off to put old ones back in, so I cant hook them up without buying new connectors for those wondering why im asking instead of doing it myself).

yea just order another set of hids for the fogs. it doesnt look that bad keepin the stock fog lights but it looks much better with the hids in them. i have 6000k in my 3rd gens and fogs and it looks great. i can actually just turn my fogs on and drive at night with no problem.

yeah it was simple, I didn't splice anything either, just used those "Knife" connectors at my connection, don't know what they are technically called but they have the little blade in the middle that cuts the wire when you crimp it down... then wrapped them with cool seal, very simple

If I ever go back stock, I can do so in a matter of seconds

yeah but wit this job, you can't see any of it anyway, and if I want to go back stock, can do so in a matter of seconds with no splices, just add a connector to the cut power wire, wrap it with cool seal and then attach the stock head lights...
