I think it looks awesome, when I am done tidying it up il take some more pics. The lines are straight now and the black/white/gold combo is pretty sharp.

Nah thats the blackberry flash, I bought 600 sandpaper and prepped the caps for almost an hour and then used a paint brush to detail them after I sprayed the gold and black paint on cardboard. Also note that these rims are only half way done. I still have to do small detailing, tidy them up, clean tires and do clear coat.

its not that hard to make it look good if you take your time and use the proper methods, light even coats make it come out better, also crappy prep will show through and be amplified when your done. using a paint brush is a no no for even, uniform coats. we've all tried giving you pointers and suggestions on how to make these come out nicely but you keep doing the opposite

This project has took me almost 5 days or about 25 hours of prep work and painting, take my time? Ya okay. I am not going to use a spray can on a plastic center piece, that is silly and the paint brush works great for the small details that the spray can can't get.

Doing the opposite? I sanded it down, wiped and cleaned, taped, painted 1 thin coat , 1 coat bit heavy, let dry 2.5 days, tape, sand a bit again, wiped and cleaned, went over tape to make sure of straight lines on rim edge (used lamp light in dark to make sure it was accurate) painted 1 thin coat, 1 heavier coat, let dry, sanded and cleaned caps, used brush for small detailing and sit. This is hardly a rushed job, people said paint should be 2-3 days, I am going on to 5 and I still have to do clear coat.

just because its taken you 5 days to do it doesn't mean anything. and why wouldn't you use a spray can on the plastic center pieces, from the picture you posted they look like **** to be honest. now the rims i have no comment on at the moment because i will wait for you to finish those from the pictures you've posted they do look alright but again i will wait for a close up picture
