I don't feel like taking any more pics lol, that is in the light with an actual camera.

Anyways, I like them and so does everyone else who has seen them so I am happy (:.

Can anyone recommend a good clear coat?

I don think they came out bad, but I see what everybody's talkin bout with the blk on the center caps...

Really, as long as you like em, you're good.. you'll really have to see how it looks on the car before you like em or not..

It took me maybe 3 hours to do my headlights today. I did 5 coats of Primer Black, 6 Coats of Color and 6 coats of Duplicolor High Gloss Clear Coat. There is a little bit of a texture because I didn't lay it on extremely thick on the final coat. What they mean is don't rush the job by short cutting the drying time between coats. I won't rattle can a rim, I had mine powder coated. As long as you like it that's all that matters.

PowderCoating three colors on a rim, Hmm..!! I would get my mine powder coated if I just wanted one color though.

Camera doesn't give the caps credit. I'l take a video later lmao.

The clear coat I used was Duplicolor Clear Coat Protectant Spraypaint. It was the same size can as the Duplicolor Perfect Match cans.

Didn't tape off the inside of the wheel, no. My second coat was a bit heavier. Each wheel took me about 45 minutes to tape. It sure is easy to criticize tho.

just because we haven't done rims doesn't mean we don't know what we're talking about, it took me a week to do my headlights and 3/4 of that was prep, all of my trim and engine bay stuff same thing, prep and proper masking of area's is key to a good final product.

all we want is for your stuff to come out looking super nice, not just ok. does that make sense.

Na I'm all about takin your time, but in the end, if you're gonna do it yourself, as long as you like it, you're good

Doing two colors on a rim is a lot trickier than you think, especially when it comes to lines. I think Rims are probably the hardest thing to paint on a car and painting the rims black and white easily shows defects. Considering there are only a few things like paint running down inside the rim and a few lines that are not 100% .. I am proud of myself.

Anywho, I think I am going to start doing clear coat soon!! And boy do these rims looks nice beside my car =)
