Aftermarket Mirror Options?

Are there any options for aftermarket mirrors That look better then stock?

I haven't been able to find anything That I like really. I was thinking of maybe making some. Has anybody else ever done this? Any pics or anything would be great.

What's wrong with your stock mirrors?

The stock ones are bulky and clumsy looking. Why does there have to be something wrong with them to change them?

I didn't say there was something wrong with it. I was just curious if urs were broken or something.

No. They just look like big dumbo ears on the side of the car imo. I've just been thinking of like the F1 style mirrors cause they're a little more sleek and streamlined. But I haven't really seen anyone install them or even any manufactured other then the universal ones.

So what I was thinking of doing is ordering a set and fabricating them myself. Maybe something like cutting the stock mirrors off the base plates that mount outside the car, fiberglassing them flush and fiberglassing in a metal support on the inside of the assembly, then drilling and installing the F1 mirrors to that.

I figure I can do them in about a weekend and for less then $100, I've just not seen it done and wondered how it would look.
