i just bought an 11 or 13" rubber mast black antenna for $6.99 US at Murray's Auto...similar to an autozone. It came threaded with gm threads....but it also had adapters for chrysler, ford, and imports....all for $6.99. I would post pics...but it's dark outside and i'm kinda lazy

like i said, some of the 06's have 7mm threads, the universal ones have 6mm, so not all universals will work on 06 cobalts

Did you get the euro one for $9.99? Is it higher than the spoiler and any pics?

They take it off when you use automatic carwashes...America, home of the lazy!

if you're ever crazy enough to go through an automatic wash... take the antenna off... it'll snap otherwise.

Before you hack your stock antenna to pieces you may want to take it off and test to see if your signal deteriorates. I know that when I used to live out in the country there was no need for an antenna since there was less interference. However, here in the D with all of the buildings and more radio stations it makes a big difference.
