For anyone interested in those infamous Ebay projector headlights

Seeing that everyone is wondering if those headlamps are good (worth the $330) or not, I had a little idea to find out:

1. We all chip in and put some money in a Paypal account (I'll keep track of those who contribute)

2. I'll buy the lights and install them. I'll take lots of day/night photos and write up a full review of the lights and answer any questions anyone has about them.

3. After all is said and done, I'll resell them on Ebay or in this forum to get our money back (everyone will get back what they spent OR the money will be divided based on percentages if they sell for less than what we originally paid).

If anyone is interested, just PM me with your name and email and I'll give you the Paypal details for you to contribute something (send whatever amount you can -- $1, $20, $50...), and I'll keep everyone posted on the amount we're at.

If you are not interested, please keep your comments to yourself, I KNOW a lot of people think these lights are crap, but there are a lot of us who are just curious.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

CURRENT AMOUNT: $20.00

Contributors: Justin ($20)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think anyone wants to buy these without knowing the quality, so I thought this was a good way for everyone to find out how decent they are without someone spending (or wasting) $330.

Okay, I'm done talking now.

Here's a link and an image for those that don't know about the lights (which would be almost impossible if you've been on this forum for at least a day):

If your going to resell them it is just a better idea to buy them yourself and get your money back. Have 20+ people putting money in is going to be a nightmare

I would, but I can't afford it right now. I figured this way everyone would only be putting in a small amount of money for these "not sure if they're good or not" lights.

It wouldn't be hard to keep track at all. I'd write down the Paypal account email addresses and how much they contributed. Then I send back the money when they sell. Not a nightmare, just a little bit of a hassle.

I finally got off my butt and downloaded the pic I took of the light in a F-150

here it is, (click it for a bigger pic)

this will hopefuly give you an idea of what it looks like. I asked the guy about night vision and he said he hadn't driven at night yet. I hope this helps.

Looks pretty cool, although I'd rather see a full shot of the front of the truck, but good enough.

I wonder though, it looks like there are 3 spots to put lights on the cobalt ones, one for the turn signal, one for the headlight, and then the projector one.. Where does the third bulb come from?

Hey, I have an idea too!

Everyone should chip in and buy a Gravana body kit and send it to me!

Then I'll install it and tell every one if it looks cool or not.

Are you kidding? Why would anyone want to buy YOU headlights?

Are you proposing that we share them somehow?

Hey, I have an idea. Why don't you READ the post completely before making comments. I said I would get them to review, and then RESELL them to get most (if not all) of the money back. I would then split up the money to those that contributed.

Jesus, read the whole post first.

It doesn't look like it's gonna happen anyway, it was just an idea.
