Anyone Painted Their Interior Door Handles???

Mine are getting on my nerves to the point of me going crazy lol
Everytime i open my door i get scratched because the "chrome" is coming off. Anyone painted theirs yet??? If so pls post pics of that it looks like. Tried searching but found nothing. Thanks!!

I dont have my pics with me here, but to get them off, there is a little hidden panel in the opening where the handle is. Like a trap door. So you pull it off with a flat head screwdriver and there is a screw under. With that off, you can remove the handle.
