Anyone With Painting Experience

I'm in the process of painting my interior trim pieces Victory Red. I'm doing it in my garage since I don't have access to a paint booth and there are some small dust fibers getting on it and there's nothing I can do to avoid it. How do I fix it? Wet sand with 1000 grit when I get the clear on?

you can sand it with 1000 grit wet sand paper before or after you clear.

if you sand before clear, make sure you put more of the base color (red) on after sanding and then clear.

you may get lucky and the dust will slightly disappear (or become less noticeable should i say) after clearing it, without any sanding of the color.

BTW: I paint cars as a career @ a dealership collision shop.

clean out ur garage, sweep it out really good. then wet it down w/ a hose to keep the dust from kicking around in the air. that should help keep the dust down.
