Big paint chip on wheel....

Just wanted to see if anyone else got this problem, i have huge paint chip on my two rear wheels probably rock thrown by the two front wheels. I went to see my dealer to get'em fix or exchange and he said they won't exchange them but do a paint job. My question is are they gonna be able to match the color perfect. I'm gonna wait until I get my winter wheels on anyway, don't want to lose my car for a week..

Bye guys hope everything works out for the best

Be very careful... someone on here had a rim painted by a dealer and the color didn't match, dealer did correct the problem however. just make sure you check it out before you drive away.

Doubt it... but how much did it cost you to get it painted?

Thanks

I am the one who had his rim repainted. The shop guys did it and the dealer paid to have it fix. Talk to shop manager and then complain to GM. Don't let them get away with wrecking it because they don't know how to use a wrench.
When it was fixed it was too light the first time but the rim shop fixed it free and gave me a credit for another fix free.
Look at the rims in the daylight (not under shop lights) and from a distance. Good luck.

The rim shop says between $170-$225. (Cdn) per wheel.

tHnaks guys I'll keep you posted on the result, and yes it is under warranty, it's not gonna cost me nothing so they'll just paint it as often as it takes to get it the same color...
