i keep my ash try in my left cup holder and it fits fine but for the right cup holder you need to get dasani watter bottles (the blue and white ones that have a big bottom and they fit snug) or you need to get a sweet teat from mcdonalds and then slam the car into 5th and make the drink explode

Arizona's Teas fit PERFECTLY. like a Glove. The only time Ive had a drink spill was a glass Coke bottle...which is VERY skinny

If and when I get a drink that doesnt fit I always have a book of matches in my car...I just wedge it in the side of the drink and cup holder...but that looks kinda ghetto

Wow I can't believe that GM is so bad off that they had to start omitting the rubber liner! That's ridiculous. I have the liner and I rarely have problems. There's your solution...just buy the liner.

2 solutions:

1) those little cupholder insulator thingies

2) a 2.5" tubing coupler adapter

Extra large double double with the insert - works like a charm.

If my coffee comes out of there I likely have waaaaay bigger problems

They nay not be the best but they beat the living **** out of the add on that came with my 535 - it just kind of hooks into the console, falls off all the time, and nothing bigger than a small drink fits - total loss on that one

GM FAIL

I had the insert in my 05 base cobalt and then when i picked up my 09 ss/tc I thought it was missing so I asked the salesman and he said no they don't have them any more! FAIL FAIL FAIL. I never had a drink spill with the insert and the insert was great cause when it got dusty and dirty i took it out and washed it inside!

That is why I usually only drink bottled water or bottled sodas in the car.

What I'm working on will be made of ABS plastic and very stock looking, we are working on possibly a complete pop in solution, no inserts, redesigning the entire thing

Right now I need to locate another stock cupholder piece to use for a template
