Everyone talking about the rubber insert... I have one and it hardly makes a difference... MAYBE makes some bigger things fit more snuggly but at the end of the day the cupholder still suck *****.

And in my sisters Cavi, the cupholder is only about 1/2 of an inch deep. Chevy needs some schooling in cup holder design.
haha! i konw exactly what your talking about, my mom has a blazer extreme (sharp btw) but everytime you take a drink out of the cup holder, the whole cup holder comes with it.....

if you hate your cup holder so bad you can come drive my trans am... then come back and complain. m6 + v8 = (drink of choice) flying somewhere in car usually back seat due to my elbow hitting it and it falls back rolls off the console to the back. gm SUCKS at making cup holders. the one in the cobalt sits too far back and i hit it with the shifter.

yes the holders are too close to everything, heat controls, shifter, each other...ugh. This is something that would be in a hyundia because they dont use them their, but an american car company? they should know cup holders well (hyundia's didnt have cup holders at first, then had horribly placed ones when they first came to the US).

My cup holder holds my sunglasses perfectly and the rear cup holders are for the rare occasion I have a drink in my car. I try to avoid food/drinks at all cost in the car. In fact, if I could, I'd remove the cup holders up front entirely in place for a small storage compartment or something.
