Cupholders....lets fix these damn things
i keep my ash try in my left cup holder and it fits fine but for the right cup holder you need to get dasani watter bottles (the blue and white ones that have a big bottom and they fit snug) or you need to get a sweet teat from mcdonalds and then slam the car into 5th and make the drink explode
5th gear cup explosion TRUE STORY
one time i had a slurpee in the back cup holder and went around a corner and it did a flip out of there and i couldnt reach it cuz the car is compact haha luckily it was dry and not liquidy
damn bitch ass cupholders
yah you gota concentrate on barly holding the shifter when u got big drinks going into 5th and if its big enough 3rd too
solution:
Make cupholder deeper by cutting out the bottom and fiberglassing it. This will keep smaller items from flying out. About the only thing I can think of besides the insert, a cup inside a cup, double sided tape on the bottom of the cup holders, or just stop putting poland spring bottles in the front cup holders all together.

Wait... whats the problem? I drive two hours to work and back each day. I have two coffee cups and a water bottle. I regularly put fountain drinks, 20 oz soda bottles, 1 liter soda bottles, solo cups, and soda cans without issue.
the only thing I have every had slip out is a red bull can or the thin poland spring type water bottles?

Since I posted here I have had two experiences with the cupholders.
I had a skinny bottle of water in the cupholder and was going through a loop to merge onto the expressway and the thing went straight from the cupholder through the air and hit the passenger door, lol. I guess I was exiting the loop fast and pulled some G's.
I was at work and went to the bank, so my boss asked me to get two large sweet teas from McDonalds on the way back. It was a hot day, got in my car and started it, put the two cups in the holders. Then I decided I would need to turn the fan and air conditioning on, but the controls were not even visible. So I took the cup out set the controls, put the cup back in. Then I belted in and closed the door, and wondered if it was possible to shift the car with these massive cups there. I rowed through each gear and decided it was possible if I grabbed the shifter from the sides. If I put my hand on top of the shifter like normal my knuckles would hit the cups in gears 1-3-5 and I did not want the lids to pop off or worse punch a whole in the cup.
It's best not to have any drinks in this car, you should have a screw top that won't open or spill.

I have so much freakin spilled Timmy ho's in my car because of these cup holders (and I guess the way I drive) its not even funny... My car smells like an extra large triple triple... The front + rear floors looks like it too =(
