Decent deal for 3rd gens?

Hey guys, I just picked these up with free shipping from Motion Tuning, just letting you know that there is a huge markdown from regular price on them (as well as other headlights) and also wondering if its still a decent deal even though they can be found cheaper on ebay.

..pretty sure they're 3rd gens, according to the "official headlight and tail light thread' unless I completely misread it. I only paid $169 for these they went up since last night and are HID kits not available on ebay for under $50? I thought I got an ok deal but I guess not, anybody else have any opinions?

What bulbs do I use for my fog lights, are they H11's?? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere, and do I need 2 sets of HID's for the 3rd gens, or will one set do?

thats all prefrence. and higher on the kevlin scale you go the less amount of light output you get. if you like Blue rice look then go ahead and get them. if you like white with a small Hint of blue go with 6000k. now a solid white is 4300k. and yes fogs are H11. and 1 set will do your low beam projectors and another set will do you fogs. so total of 2 sets. 1-H1 set. and 1- H11 set.

I'd get 6000k max, it's what I have and mine are fine. They're white with the slight hint of blue while still being bright as hell compared to a halogen. I don't see any need to go with a higher color temp unless you really want blue lights and to be a target for cops. I've got the third gens too just in chrome. I did my lowbeams and fogs with the 6000k and I love them.

I have the 3rd gen projectors with 8000k's and love them, plenty of light at night. And on the cop topic with them, i work at the state police headquarters here in wv and the only thing they have said to me is they look nice. Now if you got the specialty blue hids then yeah you would have issues.

Can you just replace the bulbs in the fog lights or do you have to get a new light housing for HID's
