do hid's not work in aftermarket stock head lights?

do hid's not work in aftermarket stock head lights?

jus installed hid in right light which is stock and came with the car....my left light which is a ftermarket stock headlight that i bought new on ebay for 55 bucks and its not working in that one???? whats wrong everythin is wired right

check your wiring, has nothing to do with your headlight housing, could have knocked off a connector/ wire when installing the light (ive done that before)
