Do I Cut These Off????

was shaving down where the cross member was cut off yesterday, as it was out like an inch and i noticed these tabs in my lower grille hole and i have not seen them on another car, so im wondering if i should cut them off?

They mount to the bumper beam. Unless you have an IC or HE keep them.

ill leave them, and tell my painter not to paint them so you cant see them. but if they get in the way for any reason, ill cut them

no. those tabs bend backwards into the bumper and conect to the rebar behind the bumper.

Keep them unless you get a IC or H/E where there too big and the tabs wont fit

I will be cutting mine. I could unbolt the bumper bar bolts that hold the heat exchanger and put them back in but I can't find a real reason to save them. they don't seem to make the bumper any more sturdy (it doesn't wobble or sag with them not bolted up).
