Door Handle Opinion

I am taking my car in on Tuesday to my paint / body guy to replace my broken front LS bumper with an LT bumper as well as fix the drivers door where someone threw an egg at it and work out some door dings. While it is there I was wondering if I should have him paint my door handles too. I'm going with a black and orange theme with the car. Whats your opinion? Here are some pics so that you can see what is black so far.

Black door handles are usually a lower cost option on many vehicles

WHY would you do that?

you dont want to 'disrupt' the lines of the car with an eyesore. Might as well put chrome trim around the door edges

I guess if you paint the door handles black.. might as well paint the gas door black too....

I said no... only because you can buy them in the stock black color of the black cobalts, it would probably better to do that so you could see if you really liked it or not... I'm sure it would be better than having them professionaly painted.

With the styling you have going on... I think it might be an interesting look I would have to see it in order to make any further judgement

heres two quick photoshops for ya so you could get an idea (again I would say just buy a black set, and keep the stockers as a backup)

Honestly I think it's bitchin! but ultimately it is your car, so go for whatever you like!

Well the LT bumper will have the black inserts grilles instead of the molded body color grilles. Im still undecided as to if I want to do it or not. I want some contrast there but i think it just might be too little and look out of place. Not to mention in the future i am going to 2 tone the car with the top half black and think black handles would disrupt the flow on the orange

PLEASE don't do the black inserts on the front of the car... they SUCK and if you get wax on them they are a pain to clean up lol, and if your worried about flow once you get the two tone... those will Definately dissrupt it. just my $.02

i like the contrast. the ss bumper is much nicer than the LT, but LT is def better looking than the LS bumper. at least on white
