I would rather have it with me in the car, b/c if i get pulled over for it a cop might be more lenient b/c i have it w/ me at least. also it broke so who knows mi might not get a ticket, were as if i didn’t have it i would for sure get a ticket.

 

put my SS in the front today.. looks sick as hell. My rear bowtie was the biggest pain in the ass to get off.. but the front one was easy as hell.

i've never bought sony but talkin to ppeople that did they regreted every penny they spent on it, personally i'd buy nothing other than alpine but whatever suits ur needs

 

The SS looks out of place on the front, especially when you can tell the bow tie was supposed to be there from the overhang. Personally I like the bow tie in front and all the SS badging and Supercharged badging. Then again I'm old school I guess, I want the imports to know that this Chevrolet product just schooled your Honda....lol. Now if one of your mods was the smaller pulley and K&N filter or CAI with a new dyno of the extra power.....that's what I like to see. For me, I think that for the most part, the look of the car is great just the way it is.....I just want more power.....

I do like the shaved antenna though. I may just do that....well not shave it, but get a smaller, stubby antenna.

 

You might not have had any problems with it but there is a lot better stuff out there for not a lot more money.
Im getting two 8in JL W7's yes two 8's and the TR series speakers and about 1000 watts for under a grand that is installing myself and later getting a clean sweap so i can use the factory head unit.
JL makes the best stuff and i will but nothing but JL.

 

not bad, glad to see something unique thats got some taste to it.... but with the xplod and sony..... they're ok, but you'd be better off with, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, MTX Audio....

 

Thats really cool, do you get good reception with that antenna?

EHH the reception is soo soo but i dont listen to the radio (hate the comercials and no good stations, plus MP3 is all i need) if ur underground it can get bad but on highways and city roads its the same as a regualr antennas reception.

I screwed of the whole antenna and just cut of the receiver part, repainted the the little *** that was left so there were no marks and just replaced it.

 

I like the car so far except the shifter. You should probably get a short throw anyway lol. A good antenna to get is that one on the Corvette PFYC store. It is 8 inches and looks stock and you still have reception.
