Front Bumper Removal

I know there's a How To somewhere for removing the front bumper cover but I can't seem to find it, anyone know the link?

Also, do the headlights have to come out/stay out to take the bumper cover off? I'm going to have to leave the bumper off for a few days but still have to be able to drive the car so the headlights need to go back in.. can they remain on the car even if the bumpers off?

yes the headlights can go on without the bumper, to remove it just go under the car and unbolt everything that attaches to the bumper, remove the grille, then loosen the bolts on the side

The front wheels/wheel liners have to come off to access the bolts behind the wheel liners right?

Well, i got the bumper off and realized that the crush zone bar behind the bumper has some structural damage from the accident, so that is probably going to have to be replaced... where can I buy that? Is it something I can unbolt and change myself or should I have a body shop do it? Also I need new headlights from the accident so I might as well go aftermarket now... what are the best headlights to buy? that wont fog up or leak or anything like that.

Anyone have these?

Hmm not sure what you mean:
Is it number 10 on this image or maybe 12?

This - It's damaged right above the license plate, its bent up and in. you can see the crack.

Ouch, that's your impact bar. I searched ebay and found nothing. All i know is you can either buy it off: GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts or pay more at the GM dealer. Not sure of anywhere else, except maybe a junk yard.
hope this helped

mabey a stupid question.. but do you "need" that bar to be in good shape? does it affect attaching a new bumper? or is it so if you smoke something it takes the brunt?

Hmm that's a good question. I would think it would depend on the shape it's in, and if it's too damaged the bumper cover may not sit correct, and you don't want that. In the picture it just appears to be slightly damaged on the drivers side.
