gen 3 bulb changing?

idk where this is supposed to go, but anyways here we go. just wondering for those of u with the third generation halos how u changed the bulbs out, whether it be for HID's or just xenon bulbs. i just donw wanna break the damn things. also, how many of u have them and see that theyre starting to flake or crack or w/e on the inside?

you take off the rubber cover, then disconnect the quick connects(one should be on the back of the bulb and one should be on the base REMEMBER WHICH GO WERE!), then undo the little metal clip you'll see it pressing down on the bulb itself, then just take it out and reverse the process.

as for flaking thats the shitty clear on the out side. personally i dont care but the cracking is from running the halogens because they get so hot they heat fracture the plastic cover.
