getting lip kit painted

im just wondering how much it would cost to have a lip kit like the rk sport ground effects kit painted. its not like a huge body kit, so it wouldnt use that much paint to cover all 4 pieces. im hoping that it wont be much more than $100 or so?

Yes, it going to cost more than $100. Take into account labor, paint, and any other materials necessary to do it correctly.

what if it's a single lip like say just the front ss/sc lip? Sorry don't mean to jack but i had the same question and im getting just the front lip and I'd like to know how much that would cost to paint. I though it would be pointless to make another post about it when theres already one here.

The first time I did my kit, I had a body shop do the hole paint and install, and it was $600. If you having them just do paint expect at least $300.

About $200. It's not the volume (1 piece versus 4). It's the time in the paint booth and the painters time, and the mixing the paint. He can shoot 1 piece just as quickly as all 4.

They followed the RKS instructions, so yes they used the tape, and they added a couple of small brackets to help in a few places.
