I have 25% all the way around and i left the windshield alone i was never a fan of the abrupt line of tint on the shields i prefer the fade into the tint thats already there but that is just me.

I got 20 all around on mine and the strip across the top of my windshield. I don't think it looks that bad, but I wish I had gotten it curved a little bit. Now if you get a strip at the top and bottom and leave about an 8" opening in the middle THAT looks bad.

Do the strip, trust me you wont regret it. It helps alot when teh sun is in your eyes. These people dont know what they are talking about, it doesnt look dumb at all ecspecially on a black balt. I have the strip and 5% all the way around. Im getting my whole windsheild tinted soon(not 5% of course)

Get the strip(I have one), it looks good on a black 'balt and helps with the sun.

IMO i hate the look of a huge visor strip keep it modest.. i have a black on black balt also and eversince i got my windo broken i took off my front tints and left the back on... i like it alot better that way ..ie the pic in my sig

BTW where do you live i think i might have seen you around i Run the Famous Daves in Smithtown and i think i've seen you before

Yes the strip is definitely worth it. I rarely have to use my sun glasses in my Cobalt, and yes the strip doesn't look bad on a black Cobalt, or a car with black interior.

i just got 15% all around on saturday and did the strip about an inch under the rearview mirror and it curves out a little on the sides. best thing ever to do. i hated driving in the mornings, but now it's not a problem.

Can somebody post a couple pictures of their winshield strip? Id like to see how it looks on a Cobalt, ive seen it on many other cars but i think its one of those things where it looks good on some cars and bad on others.

i have a black ss s/c balt and im getting 5% done with the 5 on the front windshield 7-8 inches down ..i think 20% is too light and wont look good bc its too different colors (the tint and the paint)
