Hardwiring Radar Detectors in the 2.2

Dont know if this should be here but.. I've been trying to figure a nice "clean" way to run my radar detector wire to a power source. The only power source i can think of is my fuse box at the passanger side. Now if anyone has done this or knows a way to do this in a clean fasion i'd greatly appreciate the help...

I have it as high as it can go on my windshield w/ the wire running insided the ceiling cloth. down the right pillar, through the outside paenl that u can only see when u open your door. then under the front dash ( i also ziped tied the wires under the dash so it wouldnt fall down. then i fianlly whent throught the fuse area and hard wired it into my cigar lighter thingy) . u cant see the wires at all. and it looks great. i hope i helped

I was going for the dashmount option because i lost my windshield mount for mine and none of the replacement ones at best buy/circut city/radioshack dont work correctly with it and i was going to mount it to the center "high rise" of the dash. But i guess i could always try and find a windshield mount that fits mine to do this, i got enuf wire to do it.

I tapped into the mirror/light wire. No running wires anywhere.

L!NK if u plan on putting their another idea i would have is to run the wire backwards thrugh the front defroster whole on the dash panel. then just work the wires back to a 12v source.
