i want to paint where it says ECOTEC on the platic cover over the motor. my question is what paint/color to use and how do i do it without makeing it look like a mess. also if anyone has done it feel free to post the pics i would like to see how it looks.

yea its the big platic cover in the motor and on the corner near the oil thing it says ECOTEC i want to paint it to match the car.

 

my guess it would be the same as painting the dash...The only thing would be the paint chipping after awhile because of the heat.. And i have yet to see a color match paint that is high heat.. But the gm color match looks good i have my dash parts painted sunburst orange and it looks bad ass...
