Clicky.....

OP- Plz inform me how much power I will be making with the mods listed in my sig. I keep trying to paper race ppl and they keep telling me that 4000hp is impossible on those mods. But you know what ur talkin about so set them straight plz! Keep in mind that the OTT heat exchanger is far superior to a cobra, so I'm guessing it would be at least 20hp.

GM Stage 2 Supercharger, which is 42.5# injectors, stage 3 2.9 pulley, <- no such thing as a "gm stage 2 supercharger" the supercharger doesn't change the pulley does...2nd of all..theres no way in hell 42.5 injectors will support 280-290hp (they barely keep up with the 2.9" pulley in the first place, OH...and the stage 3 pulley is basically almost a 3" not 2.9
Cold air intake, <- barely any thing here
Hurst short throw shifter, <-doesn't add power
ZZP front mount heat exchanger, <-again..doesn't add power, however it provides the capability for you to not LOSE your power from all the heatsoak from the supercharger
Ingals Torque damper, <-another non power adder
V2header/DP <-some power
Full 3" hahn exhaust <-some power
Good tune!! probably ur best gain right here probably good for 10-20whp depending on the tuner considering ur limited by thoughs injectors
Eicbach Sportline Lowering springs, <-again NOT A POWER ADDER
Halo Projector LED headlights, <- NOT A POWER ADDER
custom eyelids, <-no power here keep looking
smoked taillights,<-still not finding this massive power gains
black painted chevy bowties, <-oh **** its been painted that musta beeen 5whp right there...and from here on i think you get the point im trying to make
debadged in the back( besides blacked chevy bowtie) and sides,
legal window tint,
black with deep red metallic painted
factory 18 in wheels.

If this is only 250-255hp than your out of your mind

The Heat exchanger alone does 10hp + and the modds in addition only boosts that number. I would guarantee I have at least 270hp and I would bet on it. My guess is 280hp all day

im gonna edit the quote here so just read the quote for most of my response to ur mod list and so in conclusion= i can't believe ur claiming 280-290 hp to the wheels with these mods...

so much for never posting until we see the dyno sheet there buddy

(following post quoted from other thread by OriGinaL Condo)

[i guarantee its that Tony kid who thought he made 280whp on his 2.9

EDIT: Lmao it is.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=201528

same town, same mods, same 2 cars, same wheels, same mispelling of "bolt". And now he even admits he's at 260 (which is still a little high).

Nice try, kid. ]

I just want to say im not trying to start fight, but please would someone with half a brain enlighten these people. Im not saying it has 280-290hp. but to say im not even close to 275 is an insult and just stupid. Makes no sense. we all now what stage 2 does for ss/sc right? about 245-248hp. Stage 3 aluminum pulley adds usually around 8-10hp. This is close to 260hp itself. So to say my other mods dont add 15hp is absolutely retarded. Im not a mechanic, but 1 badblueberry you a complete fool. Thanks
If you were making 280 WHP you would have POUNDED that sedan your car weighs at least 300 lbs less plus the sedans make like 230-240 WHP stock which means you are making like 240-250WHP MAX.

Who cares what your buddy has on his dyno sheet. If you go to the track and trap 103 you are making about 235 to the wheels, add about a mph for ever 8-10 WHP.

Most cobalts that make 300 WHP trap between 109 112 depending on conditions, DA etc etc etc.

What does a full exhaust usually do for a vehicle????? Usually between 8-15hp
The 2.9 pully is Aluminum and adds about 7-10hp.
The heat exchanger itself adds 7-10hp
An intake can add between 4-10hp.

I am missing things as it is and lets add this up taking mid numbers.... ready....
248+12+8+8+6=???????? Theres 282hp, and yes I understand thats not how it works, but I have many parts Im not even naming, these are just off top of my head. Plus I had tune done in Chicago and for anyone who wants to look dumb, I will have it dynoed in month and I guarantee 270hp+++++++++++++ all day long.
