HID Black spot....help?

I've been reading about aiming my 6000K HIDs in the first gen projectors...and they have said you just have to wiggle the bulb around till it eliminates the black spot.

The spot is just right of center and its annoying....any advice??

did you drill the slot for the return lead for the hid bulbs to fit properly? and also, with the first gen halos, the return lead has to be on the bottom or else you get some nasty shadows on the ground.. lemme see if i got a pic of it.

the return lead i assume is connected to the bulb, so for that i cut a hoe to fit it all thru....it is in the middle. thats what it said to do. i was playing with them last night, while waking up my neighbors, and as i moved the headlight housing up the spot went away??? i may need to readjust them....i'll try to get pics tonight.....

now that was a constructive comment. Stay out of the post if you have nothing useful to say.

It looks like its definitely the return lead creating that shadow, you have to rotate the bulb to get rid of it
